Subminis have several records to their honor:
  -
The world's most expensive camera is a submini.  In 1992, a Lancaster
Watch Camera, made around 1886, sold at auction (Christie's) for $47,500.

-
Perhaps a little less surprising. subminis have made it into the Guiness
Book of World Records. They list the smallest commercially available camera
as the circular Japanese Petal camera at
1.14 inches wide (diameter) and .65 inches thick. It has a focal length of
    12mm.
