Vivitar Radio 110

There were several subminiature cameras that had radios built into them during the transistor radio craze of the 1960's.  All of these were 16mm cameras as that was the most popular submini format of the time.  Vivitar made one of the few 110 format cameras that had a radio.  But since the 110 format did not appear until the 1970's this radio/camera was much later than most.  It was also much smaller than most, and was (like most Vivitar products) a rose by another name -- in this case a National Radiocame C-R2.  Despite the inclusion of an electonic flash unit, Vivitar managed to make a truly pocketable camera/radio unit -- produced by Panasonic.  Otherwise the camera features (and radio features for that matter) were pretty basic.  The camera/radio uses two AAA batteries.  While most Vivitar 110 cameras are easy to find and inexpensive, this one is rather unusual.
