MARUSO TOP
(1965) A bar-type camera with a fixed-focus 25mm (f8.0) lens. It bore
a superficial resemblence to the Minolta 16, but it only had two shutter
speeds -- B and 1/50. Two versions were made, one with a standard eye-level
viewfinder, and the other (more unusual) with a combination eye-level
viewfinder/reflex finder. Most models came with a grey-chrome exterior,
but a black version was also available. The Maruso Top is often confused
with the 1948 Top camera from the Top Camera Company which took 20x20mm images.
