DIXONS is a large camera shop chain in Europe that sold a lot of photographic gear over the years -- including disc cameras -- appearing under the Dixons label, and several other brand names.
Although this model is lowest, numerically, on the Dixons totem pole, it has nice enough features. It has a 12.5mm f3.5 lens and a built-in flash. The lever that controls the lens cover can also be set for SUN or for CLOUDY/FLASH. Requires a two AA batteries for the flash, of course.
It's really the same as the Disc 1500 but has a slightly faster 12.5mm f2.8 lens and adds a motor drive for automatic film advance.
It is the same as the Disc 2500, but has two shutter speeds -- 1/200 for SUNNY, and 1/100 for CLOUDY/FLASH. It also adds an ON/OFF switch for the flash, and a half-cover for the lens and shutter release button.
It is the same as the Disc 3500, but adds a CdS cell that indicates "LOW LIGHT" in the viewfinder to "USE FLASH".
A 2X telephoto lens is added.
Similar to the Disc 5000, but it has a CdS sensor.
The simplest Disc camera from Dixons, it appeared in two versions, one for FLIP-FLASH, and one for MAGI-CUBES.
