The Ansco HR30 was just one in a series of Ansco HR cameras. This version is a fairly common camera, but the features are complete -- for a disc camera! Let's start with its 12.5mm f2.8 fixed-focus lens. Everything's in focus -- even when the aperture is wide open. It also has a built-in electronic flash and motor drive. The built-in flash sensor only fires it when needed. Who could ask for anything more? The basic camera came in black, but the HR 30 with a letter after the 30, such as HR 30S, designates the second, accent color on the camera. There were 6 available colors: Red, Black, Champagne, Metallic Blue, Silver, and Charcoal Grey. It has a flip-up cover -- or flip-down handle, and uses 2 AA batteries for the flash, motor drive and other camera features.
