MSDS AS CLOSE AS YOUR COMPUTER (10/10/99)

MSDS stands for MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS.  They tell you what a particular chemical will do to you when you use it.  These are essential if you are doing your own darkroom work.  Even if you buy kits of chemicals instead, the checmicals still effect you.  BUT, when you buy checmicals or kits, you hardly ever get MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS.  Let's face it, the manufacturers don't want to scare you off by the possible negative consequences of using their product.  The MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS will give you more information on what you are doing to yourself in the darkroom.  Check them out at http://chem-courses.ucsd.edu/CoursePages/Uglabs/MSDS/
