A later version of the MC Rokkor-X 100mm 2.5 in 1976 with a few important changes that are easy to miss. First, it looks like a different lens. The focusing ring is narrower having five rows instead of six. In addition, the DOF scale now has straight lines instead of slanted ones. More importantly, the optical formula is changed from 6/5 to 5/5 -- maybe this is why it's a little lighter. Finally, the close-focusing is now several inches closer. |
