Minolta 16 MGs

"This shot demonstrates the flexibility of the 16mm format. I used a Minolta 16 MGs with spyfinder and Kodak 2475 Recording film at ISO 400. It's a super grainy film, but very fast and intensifies the "feeling" of grab shots and clandestine photography. With the right developer, it can even be exposed at ISO 1600. Since the negative size of the MGs is pretty big (12x17mm) the grain isn't overpowering. Unfortunately, Kodak doesn't make 2475 in a 16mm size; I had to slit a 16mm strip from a 35mm roll. The spyfinder makes it easy to take pictures of people right in front of you and only a few feet away without their knowing what's going on."
