THE CREATIVE CORNER

I have just started using black & white with a Minox B.  Not wishing to invest too much money initially, I bought an 18mm Pentax lens from a 110 SLR. It was fairly easy to mount this lens to my enlarger using the plastic keeper supplied with the lens.  The lens performs very well even though it always works at its full aperture of f2.8.  The exposure can be controlled with time, neutral density filters or a rheostat.  I have made some quite good 9x7 inch prints this way from Minopan 100 film developed in Ilford Ilfosol S at 1:9 dilution.
